How it works
The portrait session
Your photographic experience starts with your first email/ phone call. We discuss your what you are after, your location preference and what it is that you would love to see on your walls. The session is around an hour and you can include as many family members as you wish. Pets are more than welcome as they are part of your family too! (And I always want a cuddle!). The photography sessions are fun and relaxed, and I will guide you with poses to capture real emotions for timeless unique memories that you will cherish forever!
What to wear
Your portraits should reflect your individual style. Try to either all be in neutrals, darks or all be in lights so that you tone together. We recommend choosing two colours that work well together to make it easy for everyone to find something to wear. Avoid patterns and logos (unless it is traditional culture dress) as this will date your photos quickly. For everlasting portraits go for simple clothes to freeze frame those memories forever!
Location
Our sessions are normally outdoors making the most of the beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer! We have been scouting and have a range of hand picked locations around Auckland, on the beach or in lush greenery. We can also come to your home or a location of choice. Please note location fees may apply.
after your portrait session
After your session you will be invited to a design consultation. You will get to view your beautiful portraits and choose what you would love to take home and display!
In this digital world we take pride in the fact our work will printed, creating everlasting memories that look stunning as decor in your home. We understand you still want digitals to send to family overseas or share online, so don't worry everything comes with its matching digital file!
Beautiful wall art
We suggest that you walk through your home and visualise where you would love to display your gorgeous artwork. We will show you different options and help you decide on your final selection. You can buy a single portrait or as many portraits as you like, it is entirely up to you! We are not pushy sales people, so you can relax and enjoy your portraits. We have custom packages available to suit everyones needs.
